To Whom It May Concern:
Let me put this simply … if not for Denny Giantomasi at Empire Building Products, I would not have these beautiful new Loewen casement windows installed in my home. It was Denny’s persistence in overcoming every obstacle that made this all possible for me. He is the type of person who is not just trying to just sell some windows but instead, puts much time and effort into assessing and evaluating what the customer really needs. And in this day and age of inadequate sales and customer service, such qualities are rare indeed.
My situation is complicated and none of the other window experts with whom I consulted were either knowledgeable or motivated enough to tackle my situation. In addition, none carried a window line anywhere close to the quality of Loewen. I have a challenging medical condition which makes any type of home remodeling a huge and scary endeavor. Thus due to the extent of my chemical sensitivities, I researched windows for 5 years looking for a quality company who would roll up their sleeves and go that extra mile. And that is actually what I found when I met with Denny. He listened to all my concerns and health requirements, educated himself about my illness, helped with research on my behalf and then provided me with the necessary resources for questions that I needed to ask. And as though that wasn’t enough, he assembled the most amazing team of people for my entire project. From start to finish, he coordinated every step including the purchase/custom fir window trim/staining/storage/ transport and eventual installation. Denny surrounds himself with quality people and all of the companies involved throughout my entire transaction were top notch. The details of my transaction are complicated and too long to list so let me just summarize by just saying that Denny’s ongoing involvement during every stage of my project was not only above and beyond the call of duty but more than anyone else would have done.
I would be remiss if I did not briefly elaborate on my experience with Kabat Builders and Remodelers. With both Denny and AJ’s help, an incredible amount of prior planning was involved to assure an environmentally sound installation that would respect my medical condition. AJ Kabat and his crew were just amazing throughout the entire installation process. AJ really listens to what the customer says/needs and then responds accordingly. His honesty, standards of professionalism and top quality workmanship are simply unmatched by any other contractor I have ever done business with. If his company was located closer to me, I would absolutely hire him to do all the work on my entire home. AJ is truly a standout in the world of contractors and I am so grateful to Denny for introducing me to his company.
Now just a word about my new Loewen windows. As far as the specifications, I purchased the Heat Smart 3 series with Triple Glaze/Double E/Double Argon. My house is now warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. I purchased the retractable crank handle style casement windows and just cannot believe how smoothly and easily they open and close. But what surprises me most is how quiet my house is when the windows are closed, such as I barely hear the loud lawnmower next door or the barking dogs down the street. Another quality aspect with my Loewens is that they are constructed with fir wood, which not only accommodates my illness but is also at the top of the hardness scale within the pine wood family. And because of this, its degree of structural stability and integrity offers greater longevity plus overall superior quality when compared to most other windows in the marketplace. And because Loewen products are manufactured in accordance with strict Canadian building standards, their energy efficiency and lower material toxicity were also superior to any other window company that I researched.
Denny truly cares about his customers and when dealing with him, it is more than just selling some windows. He carries high quality product lines and I have found that both Loewen and Empire Building Products totally stand behind what they sell. I must also comment on the caliber of people that Denny employs in his company for as my project moved along through the various stages, his staff was so informed that they could accurately answer all my questions in Denny’s absence. I felt like a very valued and important customer with the entire EBP staff.
Well, I could go on and on but will close with this. I hope you will not hesitate to move forward with the purchase of your new Loewen windows through Empire Building Products. I can tell you from my own experience that you will not be sorry.
